Solidot Slice I/O XB6S Pulse Counter module application example

XB6S-PC80 is an 8-channel pulse counter module in the XB6S series, supporting 0 ... 15 levels of input filtering. It works with XB6S series couplers and can sample and analyze pulse signals with a frequency of up to 100 kHz, deriving the frequency and pulse count value of each channel, and it supports single-channel count clear.

1. Application example

XB6S-PC80 module supports 8-channel 100 kHz pulse counting and can be used in most counting scenarios, such as material counting on speed chain conveyor lines. Speed chain conveyor lines are commonly used in the electronics, electrical appliance, electromechanical and other industries for high-volume continuous production. Using the XB6S-PC80 module connected to appropriate sensors, conveyed materials can be counted at high speed, and the module's adjustable filtering function ensures counting accuracy.

In addition to counting, the XB6S-PC80 module can also be used for frequency measurement with high-speed pulse-type sensors such as flow sensors and rotational speed/torque sensors.
