EI5R is an EtherNet/IP protocol module in Solidot's 5 Series All-in-One I/O. It operates as a standard EtherNet/IP slave device and is compatible with EtherNet/IP networks from multiple vendors.

I. Channel-level DI/DO Configurable
The EI5R-1616A+ and EI5R-1616B+ models support channel-level DI/DO configuration. The input/output direction of each group can be set via Function DIP switches, or the wiring auto-adaptation mode can be enabled, allowing the module to automatically identify DI/DO functions based on actual wiring.

II. Input Filtering
The digital input side supports configurable filtering, effectively preventing false signal detection caused by switch contact bounce or electrical noise, improving the stability of field signal acquisition.

III. Output Clear/Hold
For models with output channels, the behavior of output channels during communication interruption can be configured. Three modes are supported: clear output, output valid value, or hold the last output value, meeting different on-site safety strategy requirements.

IV. Alarm Diagnostics
Alarm version modules support reporting alarm codes in uplink process data, covering common fault scenarios such as load-side voltage not connected, output abnormality, firmware abnormality, and parameter setting abnormality, facilitating rapid fault location.
