The Solidot C3 Fieldbus Valve terminal integrates the solenoid valve assembly, bus communication and output control into a single modular unit, covering a range of mainstream industrial protocols for automation lines that demand a specific number of pneumatic control points, deployment efficiency and ease of maintenance. The product is delivered as a complete unit; valve slices, valve functions and air circuit configurations can be specified per project—flexible air control, easy integration.

Two interface forms covering six communication protocols
The C3 series valve terminal offers two interface forms of the valve terminal body: the C3 form uses an M12 connector, and the C3P form uses an RJ45 port. See the table below:
Form | Fieldbus Interface | Power Connector | Supported protocol |
C3 | M12 | M12 | PROFINET, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, CC-Link IE Field Basic, CC-Link, IO-Link |
C3P | RJ45 | 5-Pin Push-in Terminal | PROFINET, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, CC-Link IE Field Basic |
The IO-Link version (C3-IL subseries) can be connected to an IO-Link Master as an IO-Link Device; the CC-Link version (C3-CL subseries) connects to a CC-Link network as a remote device station. Both are provided in the C3 (M12 connector) form.
The interface forms suit different application scenarios: the M12 connector features threaded locking and is suitable for sites with vibration, dust and other conditions that place high demands on connection reliability; the RJ45 port, together with spring-clamp terminals, makes wiring convenient.

Air circuit configurations combined as needed
The number of valve slices on the valve terminal is selectable from 4 to 24, and solenoid valve widths are available in 10 mm and 14 mm specifications.

Valve functions cover eight valve types, including 2/2-way 5-port single solenoid, 2/2-way 5-port double solenoid control, 3/2-way 5-port (closed center/exhaust center/pressure center) and 2× 3/2-way, and blank valve slices can also be specified in the model.

Pilot mode supports switching between internal pilot and external pilot; pressure zoning can be set for air supply ports 1, 3 and 5 by valve slice, allowing air circuit zones with different supply pressures to be configured within one valve terminal to suit multi-pressure process requirements.

Reliable protection, intuitive maintenance
The unit has a protection rating of IP65 and an operating temperature of -10 ... +50 °C, making it suitable for dusty and splash-prone production line environments.

The Solenoid Valve features a Bottom Plug-in Direct connection Structure for Plug and Play. Replacing a Solenoid Valve requires only a screwdriver — no need to disconnect pneumatic connections. The Valve terminal provides channel-level Short Circuit Diagnostics and Over temperature Diagnostics, and supports remote Diagnostics, allowing faulty channels to be located remotely and reducing troubleshooting effort.

IV. Convenient dual-port cascading expansion
The fieldbus version of the Valve terminal has two integrated Fieldbus interfaces and supports Cascading, so multiple Valve terminals can be daisy-chained on the same bus, reducing master port usage.
