The EI5R is an EtherNet/IP protocol module in the Solidot 5 series of integrated I/O, operates as a standard EtherNet/IP slave device, and is compatible with EtherNet/IP networks from multiple vendors.
Channel-level DI/DO configurable
The EI5R-1616A+ and EI5R-1616B+ models support channel-level DI/DO configuration. The input/output direction of each channel can be set in groups via the function DIP Switch, or wiring adaptive mode can be enabled, in which the module automatically identifies the DI/DO function based on the actual wiring.
Input Filter
The digital input side supports configurable Filtering, effectively preventing false signal detection caused by Switch Contact Bounce or Electrical Noise and improving the stability of on-site signal acquisition.
Output Clear/Hold
For models with output channels, the behavior of the output channels on communication interruption can be configured. Three modes are supported: Clear output, output Valid value, or holding the last output value, meeting the requirements of different on-site safety strategies.
Alarm diagnostics
Alarm version modules support reporting alarm codes in the Upstream process data, covering common fault scenarios such as Load-side voltage Not Connected, output faults, firmware faults and parameter setting error, facilitating quick problem localization.
