Application case of XB6S temperature acquisition module of SOLIDOT Technology

Chemical Industry

XB6S-A80TM is an 8-channel Temperature Input Module in the XB6S series, supporting sensor types such as RTD and thermocouple, and compatible with XB6S series Couplers. The module features a small footprint and high practicality, providing users with high-speed data acquisition, optimized system configuration, simplified field wiring, and improved system reliability.

I. Application examples

In industrial production processes, temperature is a critical parameter. Real-time monitoring of temperature changes on the production line ensures product quality and production safety. Therefore, the XB6S-A80TM Temperature Input Module has been widely used in industrial sites.

Take sintering furnaces as an example. Such equipment is widely used in fields such as ceramics, metallurgy, electronics, glass, chemical industry, machinery, refractory materials, and new material development. It sinters powder materials into blocks through high temperature, requiring high temperature accuracy. The XB6S-A80TM can accurately collect temperature sensor data, ensuring that the furnace temperature remains constant and meets the requirements of the sintering process.

III. Parameter overview

In addition to the XB6S-A80TM, Real Point Technology also offers the XB6S-A40TM, a 4-channel Temperature Input Module in the XB6S series, as an alternative. The parameters of the relevant products are shown below—

Note [1]: Sensor codes C, L, N, R, T, U, Ni120, Ni200, Ni500, 15 Ω ... 150 Ω, 15 Ω ... 300 Ω, and 15 Ω ... 600 Ω are not currently supported. Please contact us if these are required.

Note [2]: Fahrenheit (°F) = 32 + T (°C) × 1.8; Thermodynamic Temperature Scale (K) = T (°C) + 273.15

Note [3]: 4-wire sensors must be changed to 2-wire or 3-wire connection
