The valve terminal is a new generation of pneumatic-electric integrated control component, which has evolved from the initial multi-pin valve terminal to the fieldbus valve terminal, and subsequently programmable and modular valve terminals have emerged.
Wiring between the valve terminal and the control system can be replaced with a communication cable connection, which not only simplifies wiring but also simplifies the debugging and testing work of complex systems. So how can users select the right product from Shidian Technology's valve terminal series?
I. Function selection for valve terminals: Shidian Technology's valve terminal series is divided into two types, namely the slice valve terminal and the integrated valve terminal.
1. Slice valve terminal (XB6):
Depending on project requirements, a coupler with the corresponding bus protocol can be selected, supporting most mainstream protocols on the market. It can also be expanded with other module products from our company, reducing the multiple cables previously required from the control cabinet to the actuator end, and reducing wiring and debugging time. It is commonly applied in industries such as production lines and automobile manufacturing.

2. Integrated valve terminal (C2S/C2P):
(1) The C2S series also supports most mainstream protocols on the market, and features built-in short circuit detection and open circuit detection functions. Compared with the slice valve terminal, it reduces the expansion module function. Compared with the previous mode of using multi-core cables to individually connect multiple solenoid valves, it reduces wiring and debugging time, and is commonly applied in industries such as photovoltaics, woodworking, and 3C.

(2) Compared with the C2S series, the C2P series replaces the M12 connector with an RJ45 interface, which greatly reduces the cost of use and makes field use more convenient.

II. Currently, our company's valve terminal series products are mainly compatible with solenoid valves from FESTO, SMC, AirTAC, and CKD, as detailed in the table below:

III. Selection of the number of positions for valve terminals:
1. Slice valve terminal (XB6): supports an even number of positions from 4 ... 16. Currently only Double Solenoid Control models are available, but they are compatible with Single Solenoid solenoid valves. 5-way valves of the same series can be installed on the same manifold simultaneously.
2. Integrated valve terminal (C2S/C2P): supports an even number of positions from 4 ... 24. Currently only Double Solenoid Control models are available, but they are compatible with Single Solenoid solenoid valves. 5-way valves of the same series can be installed on the same manifold simultaneously.
IV. Selection of accessories:
Corresponding pneumatic tube fittings, silencers, plugs, and blind plates for the corresponding series can be provided.
